Brooklands Museum

Ample parking and a short walk from the entrance. Quick and easy to get in, you can buy tickets it advance or on the day, which is what we did, slightly more expensive but not a significant difference. There are plenty of toilets around. Wheelchair and pushchair accessible. Benches are available for picnics, and there is a park for the kids to play in. Knowledgeable volunteers who seem to love sharing their wealth of knowledge.
Excellent place to visit the old era aircraft hanger. Biggest attraction was old Concorde. You need advance booking. The guided tour offers fascinating insights into the history of aviation and the engineering marvels of the past. Visitors can also explore various exhibits showcasing vintage aircraft and their stories.
Don’t forget to check the schedule for special events, as they often feature guest speakers from the aviation industry. A trip to the hanger promises a nostalgic experience for aviation enthusiasts of all ages.
Every event is incredibly well organised with plenty of staff to direct you and welcoming volunteers to share information if you’re interested. The museum parts are fascinating. Lots of information about aircraft and cars presented well.
