Nanjizal Bay

Really beautiful little bay with a number of interesting caves to explore. Picture perfect location with clear blue water when the weather is right. Do check the tide is out a bit when you arrive to make the best of it. There is no parking there, you need to park on one side of the road and walk about 15-20 minutes to arrive there but the walk worth it.
The lovely shell sand comes and goes and can leave quite a barren rock scape when washed out. A small stream cascades onto the beach and there are several, the outstanding one being a natural arch called Zawn Pyg which contains bathing pools and is flooded by midwinter afternoon sun.
It is a really nice place to visit and have a perfect beach day. The beach is not big but there is enough space. Most of the beach has rocks where you can sit on them. The views are amazing and also you have some parts with shadow so you can rest from the sun a little bit whenever you want.
Totally recommended if you are in Cornwall and want to visit the places around or have a good beach day with the family or with friends.
